I heard that the forge has been sold to the people the own mullans bar in dpk, does any1 know if this is true? If it is the forge will turn in to a dive like that place

nah, i dont think it has been sold yet.
anyway it would be a blessing if the owners of mullans took over. last time i was in that pub it was good craic. a good atmosphere and no trouble (and even better NO under age drinkers!!!!)

no but i heard that they have lost their late night licence so they have to close at 1 or so because apparantly bartley beat up some old man for no reason. dont know if it is true. it was opened to about 2:15am on sat night passed.

Mullans is very similar to the Forge in lots of ways really...would be OK under the same management

get a fecking life people. hogans is the best place to go out in downpatrick, there are nowhere near as many fights as there used to be. plus... at least there are not as manu UNDER AGE people that get in as it is STRICTLY over 18! i think that the forge is supposed to be over 18 but you get these wee sluts that go to the door and flash their tits at the bouncers and get in- even though they are probably only 12 years old. the forge used to be good but has gone down hill in the past year or so!

OH PLZ, Hogans is just somewere to go if your a spide of a head the ball looking for a good fight! In repect yes the forge has gone down hill, but any wonder, the people that used to go are either at uni or moved to belfast!
Little Devil & Alco you should really leave dpk some weekend and try different places I thinks you will find you might never return to hogans again!

Obviously u dont go to hogans so u dont know wot ya talking ablout i was thr last weekend and thr wernt no fights! Also ive probly been out in a lot more nightclubs than u evr av which i can tell cause u go to da forge! an well that just says it all i mean the forge is ok for kiddy fiddlers...but if u wanna have a bitta fun when ur out u'd b better goin to hogans....so dont OH PLZ me slagbag....wot kinda name is that anyway???? sort it freak!!!!!

I dont go to the forge, used to but stoped going when sad kids like you started going! and as for hogans I used to go all the time, in fact my uncel owns it! If you ask anyone there are fights everyweeked, you prob just dont see them coz u have to be home by 12! And as for saying you go have been to more night clubs than me...love if you count hogans as a night club you really are sad!!!
